Why I Coach the Way I Do

You’re Not Broken

If you’ve ever felt frustrated with your body…

If you’ve been told to “just be careful”…

If you’ve tried physical therapy or traditional gyms and still feel limited…

You’re not alone.

You’re not broken.

I Know What It Feels Like to Rebuild.

At 17, I was in a severe car accident. I fractured my femur, broke my jaw, ruptured my spleen, and was told I likely wouldn’t return to sports.

I rebuilt.

In college, I tore my ACL, twice.

I rebuilt again.

Years later, bacterial meningitis nearly took my life and left my right arm temporarily without movement.

So I returned to what I understood best:

Strength training.

Slowly. Intentionally. One movement at a time.

I rebuilt again.

That Experience Shapes Everything I Do.

I understand what it feels like when doctors don’t have clear answers.

I understand frustration, fear, and uncertainty.

And I understand how powerful it is to regain control of your body.

For over 15 years, I’ve coached people through injuries, joint pain, surgeries, and setbacks. Over time, I realized this approach resonated most with women over 40.

Women who had spent years taking care of everyone else while quietly feeling their own strength slipping away.

Experience & Education

• Ongoing education in corrective and injury-aware strength training

Empathy matters more.

Certifications matter too.

I know what it feels like to be told there isn’t a clear answer. I know what it feels like to rebuild from the ground up. That perspective shapes how I coach every session.

Strength Changes More Than Your Body.

When you rebuild strength, something else happens.

You move differently.

You stand differently.

You carry yourself differently.

Confidence returns.

That’s what Aspire Fitness is about.

Rebuilding strength.

Restoring confidence.

Reclaiming independence.

At any age.
